Day 3 of Inter IIT saw few games on the table for IIT Bombay. Here are results for IITB:

Basketball
Women: Bombay lost to Kharagpur by 44-29

Athletics Men
Long Jump Finals: No position
1500m race: 3rd position – M Raju Nayak
110m Hurdles: 2nd position – Amrit Meena
4x400m Relay: 2nd position

Athletics Women
Discus throw, 400m finals were conducted, no positions

Weightlifting
62-69 kg category: 3rd – Rakesh Meena
69-77 kg category: 1st – Tarun Meena

Chess
IIT Bombay won against IIT Mandi 4-0

Squash
IIT Bombay won against IIT Guwahati 3-0

Star Performer of the day - Ameya Sahasrabuddhe

Table Tennis
Men: IIT Bombay won against IIT Roorkee 3-0
Women: IIT Bombay lost to IIT Kharagpur 0-2

Tennis
Women: IIT Bombay won against IIT Kanpur 2-0
Men: IIT Bombay won against IIT Kharagpur 3-0
However, they are out of the running as the first 2 matches were lost

STAR PERFORMER OF THE DAY
The award for Day 3 goes to Ameya Sahasrabuddhe of the Athletics team for his performance in 4x400m relay. Ameya accelerated IITB from its 3rd position to 1st position during his 400m leg of the relay. The team finally finished in 2nd position. Congratulations!
